This image was taken in the Scudder Cafeteria, and it represents the many complicated situations, and the different ways we can deal with them.
This image represents the instructions we are given everyday by the authorities that we must obey. This is just one example of any instruction.
This is an image to represent that we must all rise above our problems and move beyond them.

Kento Muraki's "Authority" image contains a no exit sign, meaning an instruction for no exiting. When I first saw this picture the first thing I saw was the big "Authority" sign. The colors used in the picture are red, black, and white, along with some yellow. The text is located in the lower left of the picture. It was a bolded text that was used.
ReplyDeleteThe image represents the instructions that we are given everyday, and how the authority gives us the most instruction, and we need to follow it. The word "Authority" means leader or someone who has more power than you do. The text in the image brings attention to itself, and thats how it affects the image.
For me, in order to make this message more clear I would gray scale the picture and make the authority word red. I think what makes the poster confusing/ needing to be pondered, is the no exit sign.
